Alluminio di Qualità boasts one of the most efficient service centre in Italy, thanks to the high level of specialization in the cutting of stripes and the state-of-the-art processing technologies of its systems.

Between the Service Centre in Villafranca (VR) and in Campi Bisenzio (FI), Alluminio di Qualità has 3 processing lines for straightening, transversal and longitudinal cutting, 2 lines for plasma cutting of plates and sheets, 2 CNC sawing machines for cutting plates and extrusions and 1 line for the automatic application of sheet-to-sheet PVC, with an overall indoor area of about 12,000 square metres and an annual cutting capacity of over 15,000 tonnes.

Line for Straightening and Cross-Cutting

Sheet straightening and Cross-Cutting Line, capable of cutting to thicknesses of 0.4 to 6 mm depending on the alloys, for a width of up to 1600 mm and a length of 8000 mm.
Cutting is carried out with an automated 143 kW rotary shear with a guaranteed cutting range of +/- 0.25 mm in length.
The plant is equipped with an uncoiler to guarantee the elimination of any rolling tension present inside the coils, belts for checking diagonals and flatness of the sheets at output, 3 tables for stacking and unloading materials. Application of PVC on both sides and an interposed sheet of paper.

Stripping machine

Sheeting and cross-cutting line in sheets and strips, capable of cutting thicknesses from 0.4 to 3 mm depending on the alloy, for a width range of 200-1050 mm and a length range of 300-2000 mm.
Cutting is performed with an automated flying shear, with a guaranteed cut to length of +/- 0.25 mm. Application of PVC on both sides and an interposed sheet of paper.

DRY LUBE Slitting, Rewinding and Lubrication Line

Slitting line for strip width reduction, with input coil weight up to 8,500 kg, capable of cutting thicknesses from 0.4 to 6 mm, depending on the alloys, for a width range of 300-1650 mm.
The plant is equipped with a shearing table with rubber-coated blades and spacers to produce coils up to a minimum width of 30 mm. We can achieve precise cuts with tolerances in tenths of a millimetre.
The plant is equipped with an electrospray® electrostatic oiling machine by Ravarini&Castoldi for the application of DRY LUBE lubricant to material for automotive applications.

Plasma cutting line

Two state-of-the-art plasma cutting lines to produce pre-processed products for the shipbuilding industry. Thanks to two independent cutting heads we can work continuously on a useful cutting area of 3000×30000 mm loading up to 4 sheets with a 2000×6000 mm format. The plant is equipped with two Hypertherm 260XD plasma generators with automatic gas console which, with a maximum output current of 260 A, allows the cutting of sheets and plates ranging in thickness from 3 to 40 mm.
In addition, two Rea Jet inkjet markers with 16 nozzles have been installed for alphanumeric marking and linear marking of the cut parts.

Bar Cutting Line

The newest addition to our machinery fleet is the EVO 545 sawing machine installed in 2022 at our facility in Campi Bisenzio. This next-generation sawing machine allows us to meet our customers’ requirements on cut-to-length bars.
The numerically controlled system has the capacity to perform single or batch cuts, in ‘non-stop’ mode, at a variable band saw speed between 500÷3000 mt/min on bars with a maximum diameter of 540 mm and with a cutting tolerance of ±0.3 mm.

Film Coating Line

A film wrapping line for the application of various types of PVC sheet-to-sheet on both sides or single-sided, capable of processing thicknesses from 0.4 to 10 mm with a width range of 500-2000 mm and length range of 1000-4000 mm. The plant is also equipped with a second bench for automatic packaging of new pallets.
